The Picture Rocks Community Faire in Pictures

Over 400 people braved the 100+ degree heat to enjoy the multitude of sights, sounds and tastes of the Picture Rocks Community Faire held at the Picture Rocks Community Center on Saturday, May 9. Thanks to the many C4PR volunteers who put in countless hours to plan, set up and carry out this event; to PRCC Coordinator Wanda Crawford and her incomparable staff; to all those who cooked, cleaned, hummed and strummed, fiddled and crooned, and shared their abundant knowledge and services. Special thanks to Dist. 3 Pima County Supervisor Sharon Bronson and her staff for stopping by and helping us celebrate our many community achievements; and to Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly installed shade cover over the tots' playground and the ground-breaking for the new BMX-Skate Park. Finally, thanks to Lisa Torres and PRO Neighborhoods for their technical assistance and financial support.
